Former Texas A&M standout running back De’Von Achane set the NFL world on fire during the first four games of his 2023 rookie season with the Miami Dolphins, amassing 460 rushing yards, five touchdowns, and an average of 12.1 yards per rush attempt.
After just one carry in the Dolphins 24-17 Week 2 win vs. New England, Achane absolutely exploded on the scene against the Denver Broncos in Week 3, accounting for 233 total yards, including 203 rushing and four touchdowns through the air and on the ground.
After rushing for 101 yards in the loss to Buffalo a week after, Achane’s snap count heavily increased. Still, after amassing an impressive 151 yards on the ground against the New York Giants on Oct. 8, the rookie standout sustained a significant knee injury that has now sidelined him for the past four games, as the Dolphins currently sit at 6-3.

However, according to Bleacher Report NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Achane is set to return for the first in more than a month against the visiting Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, Nov. 19. Since his injury, Miami is 2-2 with losses to Philadelphia and Kansas City, in dire need to Achane’s dynamic track speed and versatility to further open up the offense and provide quarterback Tua Tagovailoa yet another weapon in the open field.
