Should the Boston Celtics’ consider starting Al Horford?

Should Boston consider starting Horford in the future? Or would it only make sense in key matchups and situations?

The Boston Celtics recently secured a 117-107 victory against the Philadelphia 76ers in a game where the Celtics were short-handed, missing key starters like All-NBA forward Jaylen Brown and star big man Kristaps Porzingis. Veteran forward Al Horford, starting in place of the absent Latvian center, shined with a strong performance, particularly in the tilt’s second half.

Horford made several timely shots and a season-high 5 blocks, including a game-sealing rejection on Sixers big man Robert Covington. After the game, Boston head coach Joe Mazzulla praised Horford’s selflessness with the ball in the win and his willingness to do anything to win the game for the Celtics.

Should Boston consider starting Horford in the future? Or would it only make sense in key matchups and situations?
