Titans vs. Jaguars Week 11 injury report: Wednesday

The Wednesday injury reports for the Titans and Jaguars.

With the practice week officially underway, it’s time we put last Sunday’s disaster behind us and shift all of our focus toward the Tennessee Titans’ Week 11 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

This contest features two AFC South teams trending in very different directions. The Jaguars (6-3) are fighting their way toward potentially securing their second-straight division championship. Meanwhile, the Titans (3-6) have their fans arguing as to whether or not they should tank for a better draft pick.

Despite the obvious difference in records, division games tend to be close whenever two teams link up to face each other. On the good news spectrum, the Titans appear to be getting closer to the inevitable return of a couple of notable names.

After getting cornerback Roger McCreary (hamstring) and right tackle Chris Hubbard (concussion) back last week, both cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting (thumb) and right guard Daniel Brunskill (ankle) returned to practice on Wednesday in a limited capacity.

Murphy-Bunting admitted that he had minor surgery on his thumb, but his return to practice should be an indication that his return is probably coming sometime in the near future.

Unfortunately, wide receiver Treylon Burks is still in concussion protocol, and it’s probably a safe bet that he’s still at least another week away from having a realistic chance at playing.

As for the rest of the injury report, let’s take a close look to see where both the Titans and Jaguars stand following Wednesday’s practice.
