Aden Holloway named SEC Freshman of the Week

Holloway has made an immediate impact for the Tigers and is getting some well-deserved recognition.

[autotag]Aden Holloway[/autotag] came to Auburn with plenty of hype and has already shown that it was deserved. The former-five star recruit was named the SEC Freshman of the Week on Monday after his first two collegiate games.

Despite coming off the bench, he is averaging 15 points and 4.5 assists per game. He has already demonstrated his impressive range, making 43.8% (7-16) of his three-point shots.

His 4.5 assists per game are the fifth most in the SEC and his 15 points are the second most on the team, trailing only [autotag]Johni Broome[/autotag]’s 17.

Holloway is the first Tiger to win the award since Jabari Smith did six times during the 2021-22 season.
