The chemistry between All-NBA forward Jaylen Brown and star big man Kristaps Porzingis in the Boston Celtics’ offense has been nothing short of impressive. Their ability to work together in pick-and-roll situations has created numerous scoring opportunities for both players, with Porzingis either popping or cutting to the rim, leaving defenses confused and unable to react in time.
Their on-court chemistry accentuates their effective two-man actions and how they have been able to exploit opposing defenses. Brown’s improved playmaking ability has allowed him to make difficult passes to Porzingis, elevating his overall game. Porzingis’ ability to set brush screens instead of traditional screens has been effective in preventing the defense from switching and creating mismatches.
