Auburn has already assembled an impressive 2025 recruiting class and they are now the favorites to land another top target.
Four-star tight end [autotag]Ryan Ghea[/autotag] visited the Plains on Tuesday and ever since then, there has been plenty of buzz surrounding Auburn. It was his sixth trip this season, trips to watch Auburn play Georgia and Samford in Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Ghea admitted to Auburn Undercover’s Christain Clemente that Auburn is one of the leaders in his recruitment and explained why he is so high on [autotag]Hugh Freeze[/autotag] and Co.
“It’s definitely their tight end usage, their education, they’re closest to home and how I feel once I get on campus,” Ghea said.
He has said a decision is likely coming “sometime around February” but Clemente feels confident enough to cast a crystal ball for Auburn to land Ghea, his is the only prediction on 247Sports for where Ghea will commit.
He wasn’t the only expert to pull the trigger either, On3’s Jeffrey Lee logged a prediction of his own in Auburn’s favor. Lee’s prediction gives Auburn a 74.5% chance to land him, according to On3’s recruiting prediction machine.
Ghea is the No. 308 overall player and No. 15 tight end in the 247Sports composite ranking. The Alpharetta native is also the No. 35 player from Georgia.
