We’ve all been there. Scrape your knee, accidentally trip and cut your hand after breaking a fall, and a nasty little cut forms. Usually, the first instinct is to put a bandage on it. But first, as we all regrettably know, the wound has to be disinfected — most likely with a painful hydrogen peroxide.
A.J. Brown received an unfortunate reminder about this tug and pull during the Philadelphia Eagles’ chaotic game with the Dallas Cowboys last week.
After apparently suffering a small cut on his foot, a new video shows Brown asking an Eagles trainer for a bandage to cover it up. However, the trainer broke out an antiseptic spray to clean the wound first since there was some blood. Naturally, given the nasty burning sensation that brings, Brown took a hilarious exception to this development:
Just a lil peroxide 🤣@DraftKings | #FlyEaglesFly pic.twitter.com/jhkRhpkhhT

I love DeVonta Smith trying to talk Brown off the ledge, explaining to his hurting teammate that the peroxide will, in fact, help him heal better. But we’ve been in Brown’s shoes. We know normal logic doesn’t necessarily apply when you feel that oh-too-familiar sting.
