The San Antonio Spurs lost their third game of the season on Sunday, dropping their game against the Toronto Raptors in overtime by a score of 123-116. With the loss, they moved to 3-3 on the season. San Antonio led for a large portion of the game, but a late-game run by the Raptors helped put them on top.
The Spurs entered the fourth quarter up by 17 points, but a 17-point fourth quarter from Scottie Barnes pulled the Raptors back into the game. He was the focal point of Toronto’s attack, ending the night with 30 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists. Meanwhile, Keldon Johnson has 26 points, Victor Wembanyama put up 20 points, and Zach Collins had 21 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists.

With how young the Spurs are, wins and losses aren’t as important this year, but with the way this game ended, Gregg Popovich will certainly want his team to learn a valuable lesson.
