KJ Osborn leaves game with concussion after vicious hit

Osborn is out for the rest of the game with a concussion

The Minnesota Vikings have lost yet another player in the game against the Atlanta Falcons to a concussion. Starting quarterback Jaren Hall left in the first quarter with a concussion, and K.J. Osborn was ruled out with a concussion.

Osborn caught a pass from Josh Dobbs over the middle for a first down, then was sandwiched between two Falcons defenders, Dee Alford and Jeffrey Okudah, and appeared to take helmet-to-helmet contact. Osborn went down immediately and was motionless. The Falcons were flagged on the play.

The cart was brought out on the field to take Osborn off. Thankfully, Osborn was able to get to his feet and give the crowd the “All clear” sign as he was taken back to the locker room for further evaluation. With Osborn likely out for the remainder of the game, an already thin Vikings offense gets even more so.

With Osborn out, N’Keal Harry and Trishton Jackson will be counted on more.
