After trading shots in the first half, Alabama and LSU began the third quarter tied 21-21. The Tigers of Baton Rouge reached the end zone on their first drive of the second half, but that would be the end of their scoring. The Crimson Tide did not let up and proved they are still in the hunt for spot in the College Football Playoff. Alabama got the win, 42-28.
The defense stayed strong against a very impressive LSU offense. At the end of the day, Alabama was the more complete team.
