Sam Pittman said he had a feeling Wednesday his team would snap its losing streak Saturday.
He was right.
Arkansas beat Florida, 39-36, in overtime in Gainesville, the program’s first victory in the Swamp, to snap a six-game skid and give the Razorbacks their SEC win of the season. It also kept alive the possibility for a bowl with three games left in the season.
Pittman was glowing after the game, proud of his team, proud of his coaches and mostly proud of the return to form for a group that some predicted could win eight games this season.
The eight are out of reach, but if Arkansas continues playing like it did against the Gators, goals are still reachable.
