USC offers Washington commit, edge rusher Dominic Kirks

USC is trying to make a run at a Washington commit.

USC has offered Washington commit and four-star edge rusher Dominic Kirks. USC has extended an offer to the 6-foot-5, 250-pound player from Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School in Cleveland, Ohio. Kirks is ranked as the 368th overall player in the country by the 247Sports composite.

Kirks is also the 13th-rated player in the state of Ohio and No. 41 at the defensive line position.

“When I went out there the first time on my unofficial visit, I wasn’t expecting too much,” Kirks told On3 upon his commitment. “I was thinking before I went out that I’d be so uncomfortable out there by myself, I wouldn’t be ready for that. But it just wasn’t that at all. It was the complete opposite. I was with my brothers and my coaches when I first stepped in there, and they made it feel like home.”

Kirks holds offers from 20 schools, including Washington, Wisconsin, Pitt, Kentucky, Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa, West Virginia and Indiana.
