In what could go down as one of the best games of the season, the San Antonio Spurs stole a win over the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night. They took their first lead of the game with 1.2 seconds remaining in the fourth, and with one final stop, they secured an improbable win, 115-114.
However, the game didn’t come without controversy. In the final moments of the game, Keldon Johnson stole the ball from Kevin Durant, wrestling it from his arms, and scored a bucket at the rim. Durant and the Suns were perplexed as to why there was no foul called, but the outcome stood.
After the game, Suns head coach Frank Vogel spoke about the play, calling out the fact that he believes the referees missed the call.
