Football season is in full swing, as we are approaching the halfway point of the regular schedule. As we look forward to the rest of the games this week, I’d like to take some time to recognize a few top week eight performances from Aggies in the NFL.
Myles Garrett didn’t jump off the page with the stat sheet, but his impact was still felt throughout the game. He applied heavy pressure and tacked another sack to his season total, pushing it to 8.5 through seven games with the Browns. Here are his stats from Sunday’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
- Two tackles / 1 sack/ one forced fumble / 1 QB hit
Mike Evans and the Bucs are going through some struggles right now, and one of the few bright spots remains to be number 13. He made his three catches count, grabbing one for a touchdown near the end of the game. Here are his stats from Sunday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills.
- Three catches / 39 yards / 13 avg / 1 touchdown.
Defensive lineman Justin Madubuike continues his hot streak with his fifth straight game with a sack. His 6.5 sacks on the season put him in the top ten in the NFL through seven games with the Ravens. Here are his stats from Sunday’s victory.
- Three tackles / one sack / 3 QB hits
Another great week for these former Aggies, and you can check out some of the best photos from week seven.
