Cardinals fall almost to bottom of latest Touchdown Wire power rankings

After their fifth consecutive loss, the Cardinals dropped to No. 31 in the latest Touchdown Wire power rankings.

The Arizona Cardinals find themselves almost at the bottom of new NFL power rankings. With a 31-24 home loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 8, their fifth consecutive defeat, the Cardinals dropped another spot in the latest NFL power rankings from Touchdown Wire’s Jarrett Bailey.

They fell to No. 31 ahead of only the New York Giants, and Bailey had nothing more to say than this — “At least Kyler Murray is coming back.”

Murray is nearing his return to the lineup. However, it isn’t expected to be this week.

The Cardinals benched Josh Dobbs on Monday as head coach Jonathan Gannon said either Murray or rookie Clayton Tune would get the start at quarterback on the road against the Cleveland Browns, but ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the plan is for Tune to start.

Last week, following their loss to the Seattle Seahawks, they were ranked 30th.
