Chris Hewitt Jr. will visit Rutgers football next weekend

Chris Hewitt Jr. will visit Rutgers football next week for the game against Ohio State.

One of the top recruits in the 2026 class will be on campus next Saturday for Rutgers football’s most important Big Ten game of the season against Ohio State.

A 5-foot-11 athlete, Hewitt plays for Calvert Hall (Towson, Maryland).

Hewitt is a huge prospect, who has offers from Boston College, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, Penn State, Pittsburgh and Rutgers among other programs.

Rutgers is on a bye this week. Their next game is Nov. 4 at noon against No. 3 Ohio State. The game will be broadcast on CBS.

Hewitt posted on Z, the social media platform that used to be Twitter, about the visit:

Athletic enough to play in the secondary or as a wide receiver, there is a very good chance that Hewitt plays on the offensive side of the ball at the next level.

This season in seven games, he has 13 catches for 105 yards and two touchdowns. Last year as a freshman, Hewitt had 30 catches for 374 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
