Projecting the Boston Celtics’ season opener vs. the New York Knicks and beyond

The start of the season is always a moment of optimism and chaos as an order emerges out of the games that are played, and this one is no exception for the Celtics.

The Boston Celtics’ 2023 offseason ends today, and with that begins the Celtics’ 2023-24 campaign vs. the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. The team will look very different from the last time the Celtics took the floor for a game that counts, with Marcus Smart, Robert Williams III, Malcolm Brogdon, and Grant Williams now with other ball clubs and Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis wearing green and white this season.
