The Cincinnati Bengals are one of the more interesting teams to watch at the upcoming NFL trade deadline.
Those Bengals usually stand still at the deadline, opting to preserve their draft assets and not, paraphrasing their words, sacrifice contending in future years for a better chance at doing so in the present.
But with all the out-of-character stuff the Bengals have done lately, becoming buyers at the trade deadline wouldn’t exactly be a surprise, either.
Due to big issues at positions like running back, tight end and pass rush, we’ve even argued this is the year for the Bengals to break the mold and become buyers.
Debate is a good word, though, as Bengals fans seem split on the idea as the deadline approaches.
