The Colorado Buffaloes football team had a bye week after a heartbreaking loss to Stanford, so it was a quiet week in Boulder.
However, they added a huge commitment in 2025 four-star QB Antwann Hill Jr. Then, on Sunday, 2025 four-star linebacker Elijah Melendez named Colorado to his top 10 schools, per Hayes Fawcett of On3.
Melendez’s top 10 is as follows:
Melendez plays at Osceola High School in Kissimmee, Florida and has garnered plenty of interest from top programs. It was a bit surprising that neither Florida nor Florida State made his top 10, but he is considering Miami. The No. 21 class of 2025 LB (247Sports Composite) also took a visit to Ohio State over the weekend.
If head coach Deion Sanders can land Melendez, he would mark the Buffs’ first 2025 defensive pledge. Wide receiver Winston Watkins Jr., running back Jamarice Wilder and Hill are Colorado’s three current 2025 commits.
