Dolphins LB David Long being evaluated for concussion

Miami may have lost another key piece of their defense.

The Miami Dolphins are continuing to be affected by injuries on both sides of the ball.

Late in the third quarter of their matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles, Dolphins linebacker David Long and safety Jevon Holland ran into each other on a play that resulted in a solid run for Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts.

Both defenders went down and were checked out on the sideline.

While Holland re-entered the game rather quickly, the team announced that Long is being elevated for a concussion. In his absence, Miami will rely on Andrew Van Ginkel and Duke Riley in the middle next to Jerome Baker.
