The Atlanta Falcons defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on a last-second field goal from Younghoe Koo to move into first place in the NFC South. Sunday’s game was highlighted by missed opportunities for both teams.
The Falcons committed three red-zone turnovers that could have led to 21 points, but they lucked out as the Buccaneers also appeared to be allergic to the end zone in Week 7. Atlanta is now 2-0 in the division this season.
The New Orleans Saints were defeated earlier this week on Thursday night football to fall to 3-4 on the season, and the Carolina Panthers are still winless at their bye week.
