The Cleveland Browns pulled off the upset of the season when they beat the San Francisco 49ers to hand them their first loss of the season on Sunday. The offense was without their starting quarterback and All-Pro left guard Joel Bitonio, not to mention not having Nick Chubb or Jack Conklin. Tight end David Njoku continues to tough out his burns and showed out in this game.
It wasn’t pretty but the offense rallied and were able to complete some big drives to get points in the fourth quarter. Collectively it was the best performance the offensive line has put together this year especially left tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. who had a solid game overall.
The most impressive game offensively came from right tackle Dawand Jones who allowed a sack on a miscommunication play but outside of that, he shut down star pass rusher Nick Bosa. Amari Cooper continues to prove he is a clear-cut number-one wide receiver and can produce regardless of who is throwing him the ball.
