NASCAR Studs and Duds: Kyle Larson clinches title spot at Las Vegas

Check out a couple studs and duds from the NASCAR Cup Series playoff race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The NASCAR Cup Series entered Las Vegas Motor Speedway with the purpose of putting on a show for the Round of 8 opening race and it certainly lived up to the hype. [autotag]Kyle Larson[/autotag] barely held off a hard-charging Christopher Bell as he won his fourth race of the 2023 season. Larson will now fight for his second Cup Series championship at Phoenix Raceway in a few weeks.

Several playoff drivers didn’t have good days, including Chris Buescher, Martin Truex Jr., and Tyler Reddick. Overall, Buescher was unable to gain many stage points and lost significant ground to the playoff cut-line. Meanwhile, Truex and Reddick failed to maximize a race that was expected to go well for them.

Following the Cup Series race at Las Vegas, here are a couple of studs and duds from the overall field.
