One of the biggest concerns regarding the Golden State Warriors‘ current roster is their lack of size. Dario Saric and Trayce Jackson-Davis are the two tallest players on the team; both are 6-foot-10. Golden State is littered with highly skilled players, especially at the guard positions. However, there are questions regarding how the franchise will handle playing against some of the bigger teams in the NBA.
During the Warriors’ first two preseason games, we’ve had our first glimpse into the size disparity that has some sections of the fan base worried. In a recent video, the YouTube channel “Athletic Alchemy” dived into lessons learned from the Warriors’ first two games against the Los Angeles Lakers and how Steve Kerr‘s team has attempted to negate such a clear size disadvantage.
Throughout the summer, Kerr and Mike Dunleavy have sounded at ease with the roster Golden State has in place as it continues to back skill over size.
