It was a wild week with multiple ranked-on-ranked matchups across college football.
First, we tackle Michigan football, which had yet another lopsided game. In fact, every game has been lopsided. Even with a slow start, the Wolverines eviscerated Indiana, 52-7. Yet, constant No. 1 Georgia barely beat Vanderbilt. That makes one wonder: Is that enough to move Michigan football into the No. 1 spot over the Bulldogs this week?
Otherwise, we saw some other big games. Notre Dame destroyed USC, giving the Trojans their first loss. Washington beat Oregon, North Carolina beat Miami, Oregon State beat UCLA and Mizzou upset Kentucky. Thus, a change in the ESPN power rankings were due.
