Patriots Wire staff picks and scores for Patriots-Raiders game

The Patriots Wire staff make their Week 6 predictions

The New England Patriots head on the road to visit some familiar faces in a Week 6 showdown with the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.

Former longtime Patriots offensive coordinator and current Raiders coach Josh McDaniels will be looking to upstage Bill Belichick for a second straight year.

Last year, the Patriots blew it against the Raiders with the infamous failed lateral attempt by wide receiver Jakobi Meyers, who is now with the Raiders as well. It was one of the most embarrassing losses in franchise history for New England, and it clearly played a role in them missing the playoffs in the 2022 season.

This will be the Patriots’ chance to get even and put an end to a two-game losing streak.

New England is coming off back-to-back blowout losses to the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints, while the Raiders are coming off a tough 17-13 victory over the Green Bay Packers.

Here’s the full round-up of Patriots Wire staff picks for the Week 6 matchup:

Jordy McElroy (2-3) – Patriots 16, Raiders 20

Danny Jaillet (5-0) – Patriots 20, Raiders 23

Cam Garrity (2-3) – Patriots 9, Raiders 21

Michael Braithwaite (1-4) – Patriots 9, Raiders 23

Who are you picking in Sunday’s game? Will the Patriots’ last place scoring offense finally find a spark? Can the banged-up defense save New England on the road? You can find us on Facebook and Twitter.
