Hubert Davis and the North Carolina Tar Heels are in pursuit of several prospects in the 2025 and 2026 recruiting classes. With a top 2024 class, building on that and getting a good class in the future is key.
As the program sets its recruiting board, one prospect in the 2026 class is hoping to draw interest from UNC and take a visit.
Four-star combo guard Jayden Hodge talked to Dushawn London of 247Sports to break down the latest in his recruitment. He has a total of five offers so far, being very early in his recruitment. In the interview, Hodge talked about UNC and revealed that it’s his “dream” program:
“I definitely want to visit UNC,” he said. “That’s my dream school. Outside of them I want to visit the schools that offer me and show real interest.“
The Belmar, New Jersey native is ranked as a top 30 prospect in the 2026 class overall per the 247Sports rankings. He is set to take more visits moving forward but as of now, there’s not a whole lot of interest at least publicly from the North Carolina side.
With it being very early in his recruitment, there’s still time for the Tar Heels to show interest and it’s a recruitment worth monitoring.
