The Philadelphia 76ers return home on Wednesday to take on the Boston Celtics in a preseason matchup. They will do so short-handed again as the Sixers work through the James Harden saga.
Harden was at the shootaround on Wednesday morning and he participated in everything, but the Sixers will hold him out of Wednesday’s matchup with the Celtics. Coach Nick Nurse mentioned he is still looking to ramp up his on-court activity.
Along with Harden, the Sixers will be without Joel Embiid and Furkan Korkmaz. When it comes to Embiid, it’s just the preseason so Philadelphia is looking to get him ready for the real games. Korkmaz is still dealing with a strain in his leg.
James Harden was here and he participated in shootaround. He will not play tonight. Neither will Joel Embiid or Furkan Korkmaz. #Sixers

The Sixers look to continue to build their comfort level under Nurse when they host the Celtics at 7 p.m. EDT on Wednesday.
