Tennessee football first played Texas A&M on Dec. 28, 1957 in the Gator Bowl.
The Vols defeated Texas A&M, 3-0, in Jacksonville, Florida.
Tennessee’s next contest versus the Aggies took place in the Cotton Bowl on Jan. 1, 2005. Tennessee was victorious, 38-7, in Dallas, Texas.
Texas A&M joined the Southeastern Conference in 2012 and have played the Vols in the regular-season.
The Aggies hosted Tennessee at Kyle Field on Oct. 8, 2016. Texas A&M won, 45-38, in double overtime.
Tennessee hosted the Aggies on Dec. 19, 2020 at Neyland Stadium. Texas A&M defeated the Vols, 34-13, with limited attendance of 22,645 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
