Mack Brown’s North Carolina Tar Heels are now 5-0 after a big 40-7 win over Syracuse on Saturday afternoon. It was a game in which they led from the start and never really looked back.
UNC took a 27-0 lead into halftime powered by a big first half by quarterback Drake Maye. He finished the game with 3 touchdown passes and over 400 passing yards, another big performance from the signal-caller.
The Tar Heels defense also had a big day, not allowing Syracuse to do anything through the air or ground. The only touchdown came to start the second half but other than that, it was an awesome day all around.
