The Red River Rivalry finished in stunning fashion on Saturday as Oklahoma quarterback Dillon Gabriel led a last-minute comeback win against Texas.
The big victory puts Oklahoma at 6-0 on the season and virtually guarantees that the Sooners will be a top-10 team once the AP poll comes out next week.
The big Oklahoma drive ended with Gabriel making a beautiful throw to Sooners wide receiver Nic Anderson to take a 34-30 lead with just seconds left in the contest.
It’s the kind of legend-making drive that is going to cement Gabriel into Oklahoma history, and plenty of college football fans took immediate note of his late-game heroics.

The Sooners look like legitimate College Football Playoff contenders, and Gabriel’s stellar play on Saturday is a big reason as to why.
If you’re a Texas fan, don’t sweat it. There’s always next year, and we hear that a Manning might be the one leading the charge.
