Bears Week 5 injury report: Jaylon Johnson, Eddie Jackson ruled out vs. Commanders

Here’s a look at the Bears’ Week 5 injury report following Wednesday’s practice:

The Chicago Bears released their final injury report ahead of Thursday night’s Week 5 game against the Washington Commanders.

The Bears will be without cornerback Jaylon Johnson (hamstring) and safety Eddie Jackson (foot), who have been ruled out for Thursday’s game. Wide receiver Chase Claypool, whose status remains in limbo, has also been declared out.

Safety Jaquan Brisker was a surprise late addition to the injury report Wednesday, where he was limited with a hamstring injury. He’s officially questionable. If Brisker can’t go, the Bears will be without its top two cornerbacks and top two safeties.

The good news? Left guard Teven Jenkins was a full participant in practice all week. We’ll see if Chicago activates him off injured reserve ahead of Thursday’s game. He’s officially questionable.
