While much of the attention this season has rightly been on what the Tennessee Titans’ offensive line is doing wrong — and namely, Andre Dillard — right guard Daniel Brunskill has quietly gone about his business and has put together a good start to the season.
He did stumble a bit in Week 4 with three pressures and one sack allowed, but he had just one pressure and zero sacks surrendered over the first three games.
Among interior offensive linemen, Brunskill ranks eighth in pass-block (97 percent) and run-block (78 percent) win rate and has the seventh-lowest double-team percentage of the top-20 players in the former, per ESPN.

Brunskill hasn’t missed a snap and is sporting a pass-blocking grade of 72.5 and run-blocking grade of 63.9, per Pro Football Focus.
Tennessee signed the 29-year-old, who was coming off the year prior as a backup with the San Francisco 49ers, to a cheap two-year, $5.5 million deal this offseason to replace Nate Davis. Brunskill is responsible for cap hits of just $1.9 million in 2023 and $3.4 million in 2024.
Safe to say he’s been worth every penny so far and the veteran looks like a great signing by general manager Ran Carthon. Brunskill has gone from what was thought to be a temporary, quick-fix solution at right guard, to a potential multi-year one.
