The Chicago Bears (0-4) will face the Washington Commanders (2-2) on Thursday Night Football, where the Bears are still looking to snap their 14-game losing streak.
Chicago is coming off a brutal 31-28 loss to the Denver Broncos, where the Bears choked away a 21-point lead at the end of the third quarter. Justin Fields’ career game was marred by a couple of late turnovers that helped the Broncos pull off the comeback win.
Meanwhile, Washington is coming off a disappointing 34-31 overtime loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. The Commanders held strong against the undefeated Eagles, including forcing overtime in the final seconds. Sam Howell has been more than serviceable at quarterback for Washington, and he’ll look to build on his success against a bad Bears defense.
The Bears are 6.5-point road underdogs against the Commanders, according to BetMGM. The over/under is set at 44.5.
Will Chicago get their first win in nearly a year? Or will the Commanders send the Bears spiraling to their 15th straight loss?
