Let Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins tell it, his struggling offense won’t be without him for long despite an injury suffered during the Week 4 loss to the Tennessee Titans.
The day after that loss, Higgins spoke to reporters in the locker room about the reported rib fracture and confirmed that it was the nature of the injury, potentially to only a single rib.
And according to Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic, Higgins said the injury shouldn’t keep him out very long — if at all, though it might come down to a matter of pain tolerance.
Higgins has had a very slow start to his season while playing on the final year of his deal, at least in part due to the struggles of the overall offense as Joe Burrow plays through injury.
But what could have been a major setback for Higgins doesn’t sound like it will cost him many games, if any.
