Dan Lanning talks slow start, coaching adjustments, and a love for Duck fans after 42-6 win

Sometimes coaching really shows itself in a win.

The Oregon Ducks didn’t look like themselves early in this game, punting on their first two offensive possessions and running three offensive plays in the first quarter. After that quarter, though, they adjusted and outgained Stanford 500-120 in the yardage department.

Oregon head coach Dan Lanning said that was thanks to some adjustments the staff made after seeing what the Stanford Cardinal were trying to do.

It worked.

Now, the Ducks are 5-0 for the first time since 2013, and they get to enjoy a bye week before heading to Seattle for arguably the game of the year against the Washington Huskies.
