The 49ers on Saturday announced the elevation of two practice squad players.
Wide receiver Willie Snead IV and recently-added cornerback Kendall Sheffield will both be up for Sunday’s game vs. the Cardinals.
With only one WR coming up it would appear that Deebo Samuel (questionable, knee) is trending the right direction. However, that won’t become official until 90 minutes before Sunday’s kickoff.
Sheffield was signed to the practice squad ahead of Week 4. He figures to contribute on special teams while the 49ers’ CB depth continues to be hampered by injury.
