With each passing week, the last year’s trade between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Chicago Bears looks better for Pittsburgh. The Steelers sent disgruntled wide receiver Chase Claypool to Chicago for the Bears’ second-round pick last season which the Steelers used to select cornerback Joey Porter Jr. With Claypool’s latest antics, this trade continues to pay dividends to the Steelers.
Claypool has been a thorn in the side of the Bears since joining the team. His production has been on par with what he did in Pittsburgh and that’s not a good thing. Now, Claypool is going on record that he feels like it is the team’s fault he is struggling. While we respect the honesty, telling this to a reporter in the locker room might not have been the most cogent decision.
Oh boy… #Bears WR Chase Claypool was asked if the team is using him in the best way for his talents
His answer: “No.”

After saying he didn’t feel like he was being put in the best position to succeed, he tried to walk it back a bit but then stepped in it again when he noted that every player can’t be on the best offense and you just have to “make do with what you got.”
To note, the Bears are winless since trading for Claypool and he has 18 catches in 10 games.
