Ravens QB Lamar Jackson explains fumbles in Week 3 vs. Colts

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson explained his fumbles in Week 3 against the Colts

The Baltimore Ravens suffered a rough 22-19 overtime defeat to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 3, dropping their record to 2-1. It was a game where Baltimore had plenty of opportunities to put the game away, but sloppiness and poor execution did them in.

In the first half of the contest, the Ravens’ offense had four-straight drives that featured a fumble, with two lost and two recovered. Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson had two of them, and explained what happened from his perspective.

“They were in the pocket. Most of them [happened when I was] in the pocket. I had that one against the Texans when I was trying to make a guy miss, but most of them have been in the pocket [while I’m] trying to throw the ball. The ball was loose [when] I was throwing it, and it’s been hit, but I have to do a better job at [protecting] it. It affects the game.”
