The 2024 NASCAR Cup Series schedule has been a major topic of conversation; however, a few dates are already known. Phoenix Raceway will return as the Championship 4 event while Bristol Motor Speedway transitions to two concrete races after putting dirt on the race track for the spring date. Now, another major race has been confirmed.
It was announced on Thursday morning that North Wilkesboro Speedway will return for the NASCAR All-Star Race in 2024. This represents the second straight year that North Wilkesboro hosts the exhibition event after Kyle Larson dominated in May. The track will be repaved before the 2024 events at the speedway.

Some speculated that NASCAR would move North Wilkesboro to Easter Night as a replacement for Bristol Dirt but that will not be the case now. The venue will only have a non-points race with a repave on the way. Overall, this is a great decision for everyone involved, and with the race on May 19th, 2024, it will represent a great off-weekend from points racing.
