While the Miami Dolphins have started 3-0, and they’ve gotten great performances around their team to begin the 2023 campaign, but quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has been exceptional.
On Thursday, Tagovailoa was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Month for September, becoming the first Dolphin to earn the honor since Scott Mitchell won it in October of 1993.
In his three games, Tagovailoa has thrown for 1,024 yards, eight touchdowns and two interceptions while completing 71.3% of his passes and recording a league-leading 121.9 passer rating.
As long as he’s healthy, the Dolphins are a threat to not only win the AFC East, but they’re also a threat to make a postseason run and win the whole thing.
