There’s one thing you’ll never doubt about George Pickens. He puts in 110 percent effort into every play he makes, even if it’s not the result he wants. In Sunday’s win over the Las Vegas Raiders, Pickens had 75 receiving yards on four receptions but it will be the block he (sort of) threw that will be most memorable.
Last night, in the second quarter, Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett took off on a scramble. As Pickett was heading up the right sidelines, Pickens sprung into action to throw a block for his quarterback. The problem is, there was no one in front of them so he had to look back.

As you can see from the video above, Pickens made a valiant, albeit failing attempt to throw his body back into the Raiders defender and slow them down from taking out Pickett. Unfortunately, despite his interesting technique, he missed on the block and sent himself flying out of bounds.
