The Cleveland Browns have dug the grave for the Tennessee Titans and are now beginning to lay them down into it as they lead 27-3 in the fourth quarter of this Week 3 matchup. After two Jerome Ford touchdowns, The Browns land a knockout blow as quarterback Deshaun Watson finds Amari Cooper deep down the field for the touchdown strike.
This is great for Cooper, who was robbed of a touchdown earlier in the game by the officials, as he now sits with 116 yards and a score on seven catches for the Browns. After a rough outing on Monday Night Football, Watson has rebounded nicely against the Titans. He has thrown for 289 yards and two touchdowns, hitting receivers at a 27-of-33 clip.
This one smells like 2-1 as the Browns’ defense has smothered the Titans all day long. They have only surrendered one touchdown on the season, and have given up now just 18 points through three games.
