After catching a long touchdown in the first half of this matchup against the Tennessee Titans, the Cleveland Browns have gotten Jerome Ford back in the endzone for the second time today. This time, the newly anointed starting running back has found the endzone on the ground after a long, sustained drive by the Cleveland offense from three yards out.
While Ford has just 23 yards on the ground, and with most of them coming on this touchdown drive (the Browns are finally creating creases thanks to a successful passing attack), he has also added another 33 yards and a score on two catches.
Doing his best to fill the large shoes of Nick Chubb in his first career start, Ford is showing the Browns that he is capable of finding success in a variety of ways. The Browns now lead 20-3 in the third quarter as they look to advance to 2-1 on the season.
