There was some good news for the New England Patriots on the injury front Wednesday. Left tackle Trent Brown was back at practice, as well as corner Jonathan Jones and guard Sidy Sow
Brown’s return is particularly notable for a Patriots offensive line that needs bodies back on the unit. New England’s cornerback unit has been solid as of late, with rookie Christian Gonzalez stepping up and playing at a high level. Still, Jones being back will be important, as New England gets set for one of the toughest stretches in their schedule.
Marcus Jones and Davon Godchaux were the only players absent on Wednesday, per a report from NESN.com’s Dakota Randall.

New England needs depth on the offensive line, as the hits on quarterback Mac Jones continue to add up in the pocket. It appears the cavalry could be on the way in time to face a tough New York Jets defense.
