Recent regular-season matchups with the San Francisco 49ers have not gone in the Los Angeles Rams’ favor, dropping each of the last eight games against their divisional foes. The Rams did take the all-important 2021 NFC Championship Game to punch their ticket to the Super Bowl, but it’s been a while since they beat San Francisco in the regular season.
When these two teams square off on Sunday afternoon in Inglewood, they’ll do so rocking a pair of classic uniforms. The Rams will be in their white “modern throwbacks” with blue pants again, while the 49ers are wearing their traditional red uniforms.

The last time the 49ers wore their red uniforms against the Rams was way back in 2019, wearing either their white jerseys or one of their two throwbacks in the last three years against the Rams.
The Rams wore their white jerseys last week against the Seahawks and will be going back to those this week despite being at home. While they plan to wear their royal blue jerseys most games at home this year, they’re starting the home opener with white uniforms against San Francisco.
