The North Carolina Tar Heels return to action on Saturday afternoon, hosting Minnesota in Kenan Stadium. After wins over South Carolina and Appalachian State to open the year, UNC is looking to go 3-0.
This will be the last non-conference game before UNC opens up ACC play against Pitt next week on the road. It’s important for UNC to come out strong this week and avoid a letdown like they almost had against the Mountaineers before winning in double overtime.
Another thing to watch is how the passing game goes. It’s struggled a little bit under new offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey as Maye has not had a big year just yet.
However, the run game has been fantastic led by British Brooks in Week 1 and Omarion Hampton in Week 2.
With that, let’s get into our staff predictions for Week 3.
