Raiders WR Jakobi Meyers (consussion) doubtful to play in Week 2

One of the best performances from Week 1 was Jakobi Meyers leading the Raiders in receptions, yards and touchdowns. His chemistry with Jimmy Garoppolo was fantastic as he’s a perfect fit opposite of Davante Adams.

Unfortunately, he is not likely to play in Week 2 after suffering a concussion late in the fourth quarter. Meyers was sliding to the ground after a reception but was hit in the head on an illegal play that garnered a penalty.

That hit will (likely) keep him out of their game against the Bills in Buffalo, according to head coach Josh McDaniels on Friday.

With Meyers likely to miss this week, expect former Pro Bowl wide receiver Hunter Renfrow to receive more work in the passing game. Renfrow did not receive a single target against the Broncos as the team opted to use more two tight end sets. However, he is poised for a breakout game against the Bills.
