2024 will be the seventh season for Tennessee under head coach Tony Vitello.
Vitello has compiled a 235–99 (87–63 SEC) record from 2018-23 at Tennessee. The Vols won the Southeastern Conference regular-season and tournament championships in 2022, while advancing to College World Series in 2021 and 2023.
Tennessee will play two fall exhibition games ahead of opening its 2024 season in February.
The Vols will play Virginia Tech on Oct. 22 at Pioneer Park in Greenville, Tennessee, hosted by Tusculum University. A first pitch time will be announced on a later date.
Tennessee is also slated to play Samford at First Horizon Park in Nashville, Tennessee. First pitch is slated for 2 p.m. EDT on Nov. 5. First Horizon Park is the home of the Nashville Sounds.
