Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill is more than ready to turn the page from his poor performance in Week 1 against the New Orleans Saints, to the upcoming game against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 2.
To his credit, Tannehill did answer more questions about the forgettable game on Wednesday, but after a few he made it clear he’s done talking about it.
“Guys, I just want to move on to [Los Angeles],” Tannehill said with a smile, per Paul Kuharsky. “I’m not going to answer anymore questions about what happened Sunday. What happened Sunday, happened. I’m not happy about it, no one in this building is happy about it, but at the end of the day, it’s over, we can learn from it, we can move on and if you have any questions about L.A., I’d be more than happy to answer.”
The good news for Tannehill, things couldn’t get much worse than his three-interception, zero-touchdown performance, which was the first such game he’s had since his rookie season in 2012.
“It will definitely be easy to be a lot better than that,” Tannehill said before he shut down questions about Week 1, per Jim Wyatt of TennesseeTitans.com.
“It was tough to watch that film — I’ve watched it I think five times,” he added. “And went through everything multiple times and looked at the errors where I can be better, where we can be better. I am excited to move forward.”
